Valley Rescue Mission in need of fans

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM)- The Valley Rescue Mission is
in need of fans to distribute during the hot summer months -- and the requests
are already pouring in.

This may sound like a
simple luxury but in reality, it could save a life.

According to the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention, keeping cool is the strongest protective factor
against heat-related illness. Very high body temperatures have the ability to
damage the brain or other vital organs.
