Pair busted with crack pipe at Piggly Wiggly

COLUMBUS, GA - An officer was dispatched to the Piggly Wiggly on Moon Road yesterday afternoon at 12:45 pm.

When he got there, he spoke with the assistant manager who told him that he had two individuals in custody for a shoplifting incident from Nov. 7.

Wal-Mart employees sneak Xbox 360's

COLUMBUS, GA - The Wal-Mart on Airport Thruway reported that they had three employees steal Xbox 360 consoles from the store between Nov. 4 and Nov. 5.

Wal-Mart caught them with video surveillance of the employees taking three cardboard boxes with six Xbox 360 consoles out of the rear receiving door.

The value of the consoles is $1,794.

COLUMBUS, GA - Georgetown Elementary held it's annual spelling bee today. Fourth and fifth graders competed in the competition.

The winners are Bekkah Cook and Shrinda Williams.

Robert Wilkeson D.O. is a retired Army physician who served from 1978 to 2002.
