If a client is to receive a federal tax refund they can choose how to receive it. They can also apply for a loan. Some of the options available are free, while other have additional cost including financial charges if the client applies for a loan.
Paper returns with IRS issued check take up to 5 to 8 weeks with no charge. Paper returns with direct deposit take up to 5 to 8 weeks with no charges. E-file with IRS check issue is 21 to 30 days with no charge. E-file with direct deposit 8 to 15 days with no charge. E-file with bank check or direct deposit 8 to 15 days with a 30 dollar charge.
We are also able to offer what is called a money wise card that works as a credit or debit card. It takes from one to two weeks to obtain for people who do not have checking or saving accounts. On any refund the days or the time does not start until the IRS approve the refund. The bank may take additional time to process direct deposit. There is a $29.95 tax refund administration fund add and additional administration fee of $10 for state refund.
