Davis Broadcasting to host 27th Annual Family Day in the Park | Arts & Culture
This summer marks Davis Broadcasting’s 27th Annual Family Day in the Park, which will take place on Saturday, June 15, at Cooper Creek Park off of Milgen Road.
The annual event is one of the biggest free summer concerts in Georgia. This year’s performances will include Isaac Caree, Sherrie Moffet, Verse Simmonds, Young Dro, Jerald Daemyon, Slice 9, Adrian Marcel, Pastor Troy, and the Foxie 105 Spring Break Concert & Talent Show winner Maria Verdell, with many others.
The day will begin with opening prayer at 11:30 a.m. Live music performances will begin at noon and end by 5 p.m.
As a newer addition to the festivities, WIOL 95.7 FM will host the 3rd annual BBQ Cook-Off.
Parents are guardians are encouraged to take advantage of the fun-filled Kids Zone.
This year, Davis Broadcasting has also partnered with Columbus Metra to provide bus pick-up and drop-off locations, and the City of Columbus has expanded the parking areas for even more convenience.
Guests are welcome to bring grills, lawn chairs and the entire family for an unforgetable day of music, fun and community.
Davis Broadcasting’s stations include Praise 100.7, AM 1340 WOKS, K 92.7, Foxie 105, Columbus’ Sports Radio 95.7, and AM 1580 The Zone.
