Local dry cleaning business goes greener with Autogas-powered service vehicles

Sun Ray Dry Cleaners, the Columbus and Ft. Benning, area dry cleaning chain, has converted two GMC Savanna service vans to run on clean, American-made propane autogas.

The company has already been known for investing in more eco-friendly dry cleaning methods. Now, Sun Ray is the first dry cleaners locally to operate autogas vehicles. The new autogas vans will not only reduce greenhouse gas emissions and harmful pollutants, they will help reduce the fleet’s fuel costs as well.
