COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The National Infantry Museum is the sight of a special screening of a documentary on one of America's most important days.

"The Americans on D-Day" will be shown at the IMAX theater in the museum on June 9.

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus middle schooler will be honered at the nation's capitol as a finalist in a nationwide art competition.

15 year-old Mason Hardin, a student at St. Luke school, submitted the picture you see above into the CVS Caremark "All Kids Can CREATE" competition. The theme for the competition is "What Inspires Me."

Sixteen local finalists in 2012 Governor's Honor Program

COLUMBUS, GA - There are 16 Muscogee County School District students named as finalists for the Georgia Governor’s Honors Program (GHP).

The GHP is a residential summer program for gifted and talented high school juniors and seniors. It is a function of the Georgia Department of Education and takes place on the campus of Valdosta State University (VSU).

COLUMBUS, GA - Mattie Stephens of Columbus will be celebrating her 100th birthday on April 1. 

Her church, Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Valley, AL, will be holding a celebration at their morning service on April 1 at 10 am EST.
