Midland family offers reward for missing flag pole

MIDLAND, Ga. (WTVM) -- Tom and Liz Kendrick woke-up on April 1st to find that their new flag pole and American flag were missing from their front yard. 

Liz Kendrick says that the flag pole was particularly of sentimental value to their granddaughters.  Confident that the situation is not an April Fool's joke, the family is prepared to offer an award for the return of their flag and pole.

Police say the traffic stop happened near the intersection of Cusseta Rd. and 31st Ave around 12:35 a.m. on Feb. 27.

Harris County auto theft suspects caught on tape in Columbus

COLUMBUS, GA - Harris County Sheriff's Office is looking for two men wanted in an auto theft.

The surveillance video taken from a Columbus Family Dollar shows the two suspects entering the business, one wearing a red jacket and the other wearing a camouflaged jacket.

The 16 year-old was stabbed with a knife around 10:45 p.m. near T.G.I. Friday's at the intersection of Adams Farm Dr. and Whittlesey Blvd.

COLUMBUS, GA - Columbus Police and Crime Stoppers need your help finding two suspects who kidnapped and robbed an elderly woman in January

Police say that on Sunday, Jan. 27 at approximately 7:45 am, an elderly female was getting into her vehicle to go to church. A black male approached her with a silver gun and told her that he was homeless and wanted her money.

Columbus record label owner arrested with child pornography

COLUMBUS, GA - A local record label owner was arrested Wednesday after police found child pornography during an armed robbery investigation. 

Police were looking into an armed robbery at Stevie Porter's home on Dec. 26.

That's when officers found evidence of sexually explicit photographs and videos of several unidentified black males. 

Porter, owner of Popular Beat Music Entertainment, LLC, was arrested on Feb. 6.
