Students take school bus for night joyride | Crime
COLUMBUS, GA - A Muscogee County School Bus was stolen last night around 9:00 PM at the Columbus Roberts Center on Brown Ave.
Valerie Fuller with the Muscogee County School District says that a witness reported that it appeared to be two juveniles possibly between 12 to 14 years of age who were seen running from the bus.
Fuller says the suspects reportedly drove the bus around the corner near Shepard Drive. Four parked cars were involved on their drive back when the bus hit one car and pushed it into three others.
School district officials say the gate at the Roberts Center is typically closed but was left open because of ongoing construction.
The incident is still under investigation at this time.
