Sleeping victims wake up to robbery

COLUMBUS, GA - Three men awoke to a break in at their Benning Rd. home early Saturday morning.

Reports say that two black men used a rock to break the glass on house's front door around 1:45 am on April 7.

The suspects entered the home and kicked in the bedroom door where one of the men was sleeping.

The robber told the victim, "Give me your money!"

The now awake man gave the suspect his wallet. The suspect opened it up and stole $400, then threw the wallet on the ground.

While the first suspect was kicking in doors, the second suspect was in the living room stealing a DVD player valued at $100.

The suspects then fled the scene.

When police arrived, the victims told them that the lights were off and they couldn't see much beyond a general description.
