Columbus man arrested with marijuana, gun | Crime
COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A Columbus man was arrested Wednesday night after police caught him trying to sell marijuana.
Ernesto Mateo, 24, was taken into custody Wednesday for possession of 71 grams of marijuana, plastic baggies, and a .38 caliber handgun. The arrest took place near the intersection of JR Allen and Veterans Parkway.
Mateo is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
