Columbus man carjacked at gunpoint, "Your destination or your life" | Crime
COLUMBUS, GA - Police are looking into another carjacking this week where a 67-year-old man had a gun pulled on him at a stop sign.
Columbus Police say that the victim was driving on Lawyer's Lane Thursday around 3:15 p.m.
He came to a stop at a sign near Martin Luther King Blvd when he was approached by a woman he did not know.
The victim says the woman opened the door, pointed a .38 snub nose revolver at him and said, "Your destination or your life."
He says he moved into the passenger seat while she got into the driver’s seat and took him to his destination, which was the Columbus Community Center off Steam Mill Road.
She then dropped him off but took off with his car, a red 2012 Honda Accord. He says there is slight damage to the bumper from a previous incident.
