COLUMBUS, GA - On Jan. 18, both Columbus-area Epperly Tire locations will continue their Changing Oil Changing Lives event by donating 100% of the oil change proceeds to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Chattahoochee Valley.
"It is such an honor to be able to give back to our community through such a worthy organization," said Epperly Tire owner, David Epperly. "Big Brother Big Sisters is making adifference in our community and this is just our small way of being able to give back and say thank you."Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Chattahoochee Valley offers safe and responsible one-on-one mentoring to children, ranging in age from 6-18, who are primarily from single parent homes.
Their results-oriented mentoring program helps children to become positive, productive, and healthy citizens. The organization is an affiliate of Big Brother’s Big Sisters of America, the world’s oldest and largest mentoring program.
“We are so grateful for our friends at Epperly Tire and their dedication to supporting the children in the Chattahoochee Valley,” said Big Brothers Big Sisters recruitment & marketing specialist Anne Brown. “Every donation provides new and rewarding opportunities for the Bigs and Littles in our program.”
