Fort Benning Community Spouses’ Club hosts Benning Bazaar | Events

FORT BENNING, GA - The Ft. Benning Community Spouses’ Club invites Columbus and the tri-community area to the 2013 Benning Bazaar.
Patrons will have the opportunity to browse hundreds of hand made and local gifts from more than 80 vendors, featuring arts and crafts, jewelry, pottery, antiques, handmade goods and more.
The bazaar takes place on Saturday, March 2 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Sunday, March 3 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. While there is no cost for admission, donations for the Community Spouses’ Club Community Grants and Scholarships Fund will be accepted at the door.
New this year, the Benning Bazaar will feature a Sweet Shoppe with donated baked goods and sweets to raise money for the Community Spouses’ Club Community Grants and Scholarships Fund.
“The Benning Bazaar is one of the largest fundraisers for the Community Spouses' Club, raising funds for our year round programming, community grants and scholarship funds,” says CSC President, Michelle McNeill. “The bazaar is always a fun event for everyone while it also helps support a good cause, giving back to both the Ft. Benning, Columbus and surrounding communities through scholarships and community grants. So many people want to give back and they don't know how, this is their opportunity.“
The Community Spouses' Club is a combined community spouses organization that operates on Fort Benning, GA. The Community Spouses’ Club strives to enhance the lives of the spouses stationed at Fort Benning, who reside in the tri-community area, or whose spouse is assigned at Ft. Benning. The CSC works to support its surrounding communities. Financial support by way of scholarships are provided to qualifying military dependents and community grants are provided to qualifying local organizations that demonstrates a need.
