Fort Benning conducting controlled burn today | Military
FORT BENNING, GA - Fort Bennnig is conducting controlled/prescribed burn in the northeast portion of post today.
They say winds are favorable and smoke is not expected to escape post.
The post regurlary uses prescribed burning to help control vegetation in the understory and reduce fuel sources for potential wildfires.
