Georgia Military College welcomes new members of honor society | Military
COLUMBUS, GA - The Beta Sigma Sigma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, located at GMC Columbus, recently inducted new members.
Membership in Phi Theta Kappa is an exclusive honor, limited only to students with a GPA of at least 3.5. The society exists, “to encourage scholarship, facilitate service opportunities, and provide an intellectual community for its members,” said PTK Faculty Advisor and Humanities Department Chair Erica Stone.
The most recent PTK induction was held at the end of last term at the Columbus Public Library and included the PTK ritual, a guest speaker, and a reception.
GMC Columbus is happy to recognize the newest group of inductees.
