COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM)- Need some help programming your weather radio? This Fall, Storm Team 9 is promoting weather radio awareness in our campaign called, "Weather Radio Wednesday."
Midland Weather Radios will be sold for a discounted price of $29.99 (normally $50) at a Publix or Walgreens in your area. Just purchase a radio or bring your radio from home to be programmed by your Storm Team at no cost.
Our meteorologists will be available at on October 31st at the Walgreens located at 5707 Veterans Parkway in Columbus, GA - from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
Last Spring, your Storm Team's great public service resulted in more than 3,000 radios added to area households.
Weather radios are alarms and they are the only tools that can save your life in the middle of the night.
