No politicians allowed at 9/11 memorial service
New York (WTVM)- There are some big changes coming to this year's September 11th memorial service at ground zero.
For the first time politicians are not going to be allowed to speak at the service.
Organizers said with the date so close to the election, they are concerned the event could become too politicized.
There was also talk about not allowing families to read the victims' names, but organizers said that idea has been overturned.
