House fire leaves Columbus family homeless
COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM)- A Columbus family of 3 was displaced from their home overnight when fire ignited in a bedroom.
Fire investigators were called to the Fletcher Avenue home around 1 a.m. on Monday morning.
The home did not sustain a great deal of structural damage, but the family did receive assistance from the American Red Cross in finding a place to stay.
No word on what caused the blaze.
