COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM)- Just one day after a Columbus cab driver was laid to rest, another cab driver was robbed at gunpoint.
A taxi cab driver for City Cab Company, 25 year-old Kawasaki Rutledge, told police he was robbed. It happened at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday on the corner of Connor and Cusseta roads.
Rutledge told police he was at the stop sign when a man asked him how much he charged for a ride. Before he could answer a second man leaned into the passenger side window and put a pistol to his head, demanding money.
The men got away with about $50.
No arrests have been made.
