Crash kills motorcycle driver entering Columbus | News
PHENIX CITY, AL - Officials say a man on a motorcycle was on the bridge on Highway 80 coming from Phenix City to Columbus when he swerved to avoid a stick in the road near the 2nd Ave. exit.
He lost control of the motorcycle, ran off the road and hit a tree.
The accident victim was transported to the medical center where he later died.
His name has not yet been released, but we do know he was from Campbellton, Florida.
