The Valley Rescue Mission is in need of more toys for their annual Toy Give-Away.
Toys are needed for children ages 0-3 and 8-12 years old. These toys can be dropped off at Valley Rescue Mission Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
They should be received by Wednesday, December 19 to be included in this year’s Give-Away.
Valley Rescue Mission is very grateful for the wonderful community support and concern expressed for those in need by area residents.
Earlier this fall, Valley Rescue Mission received applications from hundreds of parents in the area for participation in the Mission’s annual Toy Give-Away.
The families’ financial need was confirmed, and parents are currently arriving at the Mission through December 21 to select toys from an assortment of gift items.
It is projected that approximately 1,200 children from nearly 500 families will receive free toys to brighten their Christmas morning.
