Fire at Dawson Elementary contained | News
COLUMBUS, GA - An afternoon fire at a Columbus elementary school has been contained.
Chief Ricky Shores said that there was a fire at Dawson Elementary School. There were about 60 kids inside along with 10 adults. There was a lot of smoke.
The fire started in a bathroom stall around 4 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
The building sustained fire and smoke damage.
