Columbus Housing Authority hosts meeting to help low-income families
COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM)- Local commissioners are
trying to help low-income families get some help.
They met Wednesday morning
at the central office of the Housing Authority of Columbus. They had a
"Motion to Work" presentation with a goal of bettering public housing
throughout the city.
Their goal is to help very
families in a financial crunch and provide them with better housing and
assistance.
After the brief
presentation, they went in to executive session. Most of the changes will not
begin until 2014.
